Description |
This is one of the hard-to-find earlier editions of Critter's "Cancer." The paintings were first exhibited in July 2016 and this one, from the 1st edition, was painted in June 2016. Critter's Cancer was the best and most popular group of Critter paintings for almost a quarter century. This 1st edition consisted of 91 paintings, each with a 3/4" Hillman electrogalvanized poultry net staple and a signed and titled 1 3/32" x 3/4" Avery strung marking tag and a Staples small binder clip on a length of Sufix clear 8 lb. test fishing line. The artwork is complete and in good condition except for moderate wear. All pieces are present. The marking tag is quite scuffed where it says BOLYP. Some of the paint is chipped away from the board. The binder clip is intact and this is a nice copy of one of the first editions. California residents add 7.25% sales tax. Personal checks are OK but shipping will be delayed until check clears. I just learned from a different timeswhater that the images below were included in promotions for the 2016 exhibit. They are not included in the auction. Thankyou for the information.

If you're the seller or the high bidder - now what?
Details for the seller and high bidder(s):
The seller should contact the winning bidder(s) with information on the total cost, including shipping, and where to send payment. The winning bidder(s) must pay the seller directly for the item(s), and it is the seller's responsibility to fulfill the order when payment terms are met. The binding contract of the auction is between the winning bidder and the seller.
If the seller is unable to establish contact with the high bidder within 3 business days, the seller may contact the next highest bidder. Therefore, if the high bidder does not contact the seller within 3 business days of the end of the auction, he/she may lose the place as winning bidder, and be at risk for receiving negative feedback and/or a Non-Paying Bidder warning, both of which can ultimately lead to suspension from TimesWhat.
