This is one of the hard-to-find one-volume editions of Bradbury Thompson's "Washburn College Bible." The book was first published in 1979 and this, the one-volume edition, appeared in 1980. The Washburn College Bible is the best and most well-designed King James Version bible to date. This one-volume edition has 1769 pages of unbelievable tales plus 66 reproductions of artistic masterpieces by 55 artists including Rubens, Titian, Rembrandt, Chagall, Tintoretto, van Dyck, van Eyck, El Greco, Dürer, Giotto, Grünewald, Botticelli, Caravaggio, and three of the Ninja Turtles, and three frontispieces of screen prints by Josef Albers. The text is complete and in very good condition. All pages are present but two are loose leaves torn out to scan digitally. The hardcover has some wear and the slipcase is missing. Some of the bookmarks and Post-it notes have writing on them. The binding is intact and this is a nice copy of one of the one-volume editions. North Carolina residents add 7.25% sales tax.
